Assembly. Will I have to
assemble my table?
Your table will
arrive between 90% to 95% assembled. Virtually all models will require you to
put the legs in place and tighten some nuts and bolts. Very simple. The whole
procedure should take about 1 minute per leg. The Fiorentini, dahlia and
Anastasia, require just a little bit more assembly. For the pedestal tables, you
have to place the pedestal to the upper part, tighten some bolts, and then
tighten some bolts for the legs.
Assembly for the Anastasia
Chess Table is as follows:
1.
Place the upper
part of the table on a carpeted surface (make sure there is nothing that will
scratch the playing surface underneath!) Put all the legs in place, and tighten
the bolts about 60%. This will leave you some room to play with when placing the
footboard (bottom part of the table).
2.
Place the footboard
on the 4 legs; tighten 100% the bolts on the upper part of the table (where the
drawers are) in a criss-cross fashion, to make sure the pressure is spread
evenly.
3.
Finish by
tightening the 4 bolts underneath the footboard. Tighten this in a criss-cross
fashion as well.
Total Assembly time is
about 5 to 10 minutes.

Assembly. Will I have to
assemble my chairs?
With the exception of the
Lucy and the Nancy, all chairs come fully assembled from the factory.

How do you guys ship your tables?
When you purchase the table alone, most of the times we ship UPS Ground. We can
only offer faster delivery on UPS-able items. Keep in mind, to ship a table via
UPS 3 Day Select will cost approx. $100.
When you purchase a table and chairs from us, we use Watkins Motorlines (www.watkins.com)
to ship your merchandise. The standard delivery charge of $120 to $130 will
deliver the merchandise to the front of your house. You will be responsible for
bringing the merchandise inside. You have the option to pay an additional $25
dollars for inside delivery. Our heaviest table weights about 60 pounds and each
chair is about 25 pounds, so most people do not require inside delivery.
If your order requires that we use Watkins Motorlines, they will call you to
schedule a delivery time that is convenient for you.

I can?t quite tell what color the fabric on the chairs are, what color are they?
We upholster our chairs with a beige or off-white fabric. A very neutral choice.
If you find this does not fit your d?cor, we will re-upholster your chairs with
the fabric of your choice for a small fee of $10 per chair. Keep in mind, you
can simply unscrew the cushion from the chair and have somebody in your hometown
reupholster it with the fabric of your choice.

Do the chairs fit under the table?
Yes and No. Chairs with arms will generally not fit under the table. Chairs
without arms (side chairs) will slide under any table.

•
I?m a pretty heavy
guy, how sturdy are these chairs?
Our chairs are
very solidly built. These are not knock-down chairs. If used properly, they will
not loosen up or break. We are confident that our chairs could hold 300+ pounds
if used correctly. Keep in mind, no chair will last long if they are not sat on
properly.

Does the color of
the table match with the chairs?
We are experts
at making furniture, not taking pictures. Sometimes when taking a photograph,
lighting can affect the shade or color of our products. Although it might not
look like it, our tables and chairs are the same color. (With the exception
of the Nancy and Lucy which are manufactured by a different manufacturer, all
chairs match)

Are your tables cherry or red
mahogany?
We understand
that sometimes it can be a bit difficult to appreciate the finish of furniture
via Internet Pictures. With the exception of our Cracked Antique and Natural Oak
finish, our tables tend to lean towards a brownish red.
